Ecola State Park

The first place we went this weekend was Ecola State Park. We were hoping to get there before the tide started to come back in so we could see some tide pools.

Unfortunately, we missed that completely, and we were unable to find any tide pools at all. We enjoyed spending time at the beach even though it was cold and raining.

Here is Daphne and her daddy enjoying themselves.

A cute little art shot.
Jared was showing Daphne how to write in the sand. She has some moon sand to play with, but there is nothing like a beach to play on.
Daphne hamming up the camera.
A nice little family shot.

Daphne believes that the ocean exists to throw rocks into. We spent a lot of time picking up rocks and throwing hem at the ocean. Turns out, it's really fun to live in the mind of a 2 year old.

Woah dad... look at that big rock.
