Suddenly, I am finding great need to get off my behind and start doing wedding preparation. There is a lot that I need to do, but it seems overwhelming. My goal is to book 20-25 weddings of my own. For absolute perfection, I'd LOVE to do 40 of my own weddings, but I will need some good advertising and some good word of mouth going to get up to that amount. I will likely book around 20 weddings of my own and then do another 10 or so as a "hired hand."
This all came about because last night I was out with Jared, and I got my hands on a newspaper. I'm a sucker for reading the local paper, so I picked it up, and on the first page I read was a big advertisement for a bridal show. The bridal show is in Mcminnville, and it is specifically for local vendors. I wonder why I didn't get in on it.
Oh, the good news is that I have 2 weddings booked so far, so I only have 38 to go (or 18 if you are being conservative).
Wish me luck, and remember that I pay commissions for weddings that are referred to me.
