Baby Babbles

I am having SO much fun being a mom. I love spending time with Daphne, and I love to see her grow in her many different ways.

Her new thing of note is her babbling. We talk to her all the time, normally too, not the way many people talk to babies. It is so funny because sometimes we will ask her a question and she will answer us totally as though she were using words, but it is all baby babble. I think it is darling when she does this. Her babbles are just like real words, and I assume that we are on the way to her talking very soon!

Also in her babbling and study of the art of human communication, she has learned a few things. If you ask her where the light is, she will promptly try to find the light in a room, and she will even go so far as to point to it. Her other word of note is daddy. If we are in the same room as her dad and I ask her where her daddy is, she will point to him and babble to try to get his attention. I think it is wonderful!
